Partner - James Bodicoat

With over 2 decades of experience working as a structural engineer for major international engineering consultants, James is adept at leading projects, overseeing then from initiation right through to completion. His varied experience across range of sectors, including higher education, commercial, retail and leisure, means that James brings exceptional insight to any project.  Chartered with both the the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) and Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE),  James’ work lives up to the high standards set by the industry. Indeed, a number of his projects have received regional IStructE awards. 

James has demonstrable experience of designing in all major materials, with an emphasis on steel framed structures.  James enjoys a client facing role, having worked with blue chip clients and contractors, local and international signature architects, and is used to working with other professionals in a multidisciplinary design environment.  He maintains a hands-on approach to design which enables him to advise clients on cost-effective, sustainable solutions.  He is enthusiastic about projects of all sizes, whether this be advising on minor structural alterations for a small extension or undertaking the concept design for a multi-million pound new build commercial project.
