Associate - Philip Holman

Philip is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over two decades of experience in the commercial sector.

The majority of his career has been spent in private practice providing a full range of professional services from commercial pre-acquisition surveys and defect investigation, to the contract administration of refurbishment schemes for residential and commercial buildings, and the preparation and negotiation of dilapidation claims for both private, commercial, and public sector clients.

The procurement and management of reinstatement works to fire damaged buildings has been a significant area of work for Philip in recent years with notable projects including the reinstatement of a block of eleven flats, and the reconstruction of an industrial facility that was destroyed in a fire with a contract value in excess of £3.6M.

With a background in mechanical engineering, and a decade working for himself in residential development, Philip brings a very pragmatic  approach to surveying and is an enthusiastic supporter of the firms’ ambition to provide practical advice and effective solutions to its’ clients
