Opportunity
We would like to hear from experienced, accomplished chartered building surveyors at Senior or Associate level interested in taking the next step in their career with an independent firm of property professionals. This role would suit someone based in the region of High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead or Stevenage; survey patches would be tailored to the candidate’s location.
The Role
We are looking for someone based in the Hertfordshire, Berkshire or Buckinghamshire areas to support us with providing high-quality commercial surveying services to our clients in that region. You will be carrying out a broad variety of commercial surveying work across a wide range of sectors. This will include landlord and tenant work, commercial building surveys, contract administration and PPM surveys. The role is home- rather than office-based and the survey patch will be tailored to the candidate’s home location.
We have a fantastic multi-disciplined team of building surveyors and structural engineers spread across the country. The successful applicant will benefit from the diverse range of expertise within the team, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality survey services. We offer the option to work closely with clients and get involved with sourcing new business, with potential for mentoring and developing a team if that is something you are interested in.

The Person
We are looking for a surveyor looking to build on their existing commercial survey experience within a growing firm. It would suit someone based in or around High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead or Stevenage. You need to be chartered with the RICS or CIOB and be able to commit to delivering an excellent service to our clients.
You need to have strong attention to detail and be confident in carrying out commercial survey work independently to a high standard.
You will have experience of:
- a broad range of commercial work
- for example: dilapidations, schedules of condition, contract administration, acquisition surveys and technical due diligence
- preparing and presenting technically robust reports
- providing clear, concise, justified conclusions
- working independently and within a team structure
- liaising with clients, both verbally and through written correspondence
A full UK driving licence is required.
