We are delighted to announce that one of Allcott Commercial’s building surveyors, Jon Powell, has gained chartered status with The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Jon achieved this by demonstrating his competence in a number of construction disciplines.
Jon said, “Allcott Commercial’s support and reassurance has been invaluable. I really appreciate the help I have had from the two company partners, Matthew Baker and Tim Allcott.” Having achieved MCIOB status just a few years before, Tim was particularly well placed to help Jon with any questions he had about the pathway and the professional review process.
Jon added, “Upon joining the company, Allcott’s gave me the freedom to adjust some of their working methods so that I could use processes that were familiar to me, while still meeting my clients’ requirements. This took away the stress of unfamiliarity, allowing me to focus on achieving MCIOB whilst still very busy with work.”
