Planned Maintenance & Building Survey

Our client instructed us to prepare a Planned Maintenance (PM) Schedule and Building Survey for a new three storey care home building in Portsmouth. The PM was required for budgeting purposes over a 10-year period and included for the upkeep of many elements of the building fabric and services and significant cyclical repairs.

As this was a new building we were able to utilise relevant operations and maintenance manuals to identify the manufacturers of the specific elements and obtain accurate technical advice on their relative life-cycle maintenance needs. This information assisted us in meeting our client’s one-week deadline and the programme has now been fully implemented.
