This Christmas, Allcott Commercial is supporting the Christmas foodbank and winter clothing appeal from the A45 Chowns Mill Improvement Team.
Allcott Commercial has been conducting schedules of condition to support the £24m improvements on the Chowns Mill roundabout in Northamptonshire. When we heard about our client’s plan to raise money for the local Christmas foodbank and winter clothing appeal, we were keen to get involved and make a donation.
The coronavirus pandemic has seen a huge increase in demand for food banks and support with other necessities such as clothes and sanitary products. Donations of food and clothing items are encouraged, while cash donations such as this crowdfunding scheme give charities the flexibility to purchase any essentials that they are running short on.
The Chowns Mill Roundabout work is an ambitious project that aims to increase traffic capacity at the junction between the A45 and A6, making it safer for cyclists and pedestrians whilst reducing frustrations for those in motor vehicles.
The Chowns Mill Improvement team has already smashed their £250 target, with a total of £1267 raised at the time of writing.
