A great way to end the year
Allcott Commercial has been awarded Commercial Surveying Practice of the Year 2023 – England & Wales, in SME News’ UK Enterprise Awards.
We are so pleased that the team at SME News has recognized the hard work that our surveying and structural engineering teams have put in throughout the year.
With the commercial market still evolving following the disruption that ensued after COVID, combined with changes in business strategies brought on by high borrowing rates, 2023 has thrown up some challenges. Thankfully, our team of professionals have risen to the occasion, increasing our work in growing sectors like industrial, and in high-demand services such as dilapidations and Section 18 valuations.
Unsurprisingly, RAAC has been a hot topic in 2023, and our surveyors are supporting clients around the country, carrying out RAAC inspections of mid-20th century buildings now and into 2024.
What’s next
As we head into 2024, we are preparing for more growth. We are increasing our capacity for commercial work in Sheffield, Nottingham and Bristol, and actively recruiting surveyors to grow our commercial surveying team in the West Midlands.
We are expanding our Expert Witness work, supporting our clients with disputes relating to construction, boundaries and assets. We are also developing our existing client relationships; for example, with housing associations, providing stock condition surveys up and down the country.
